Please also review the Site Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Site, you represent and warrant that your activities are lawful in every jurisdiction where you access or use the Site.

Not Legal Advice: The Site and Materials (both defined below) are only presented at the Site for educational purposes and to give general information about InfoLawgroup’s practice.  The Site and Materials are not legal advice.  You understand and agree that use of the Site does not create an attorney-client or privileged relationship between you and InfoLawGroup.  This Site is not a substitute for competent legal advice from a licensed professional attorney in your state.  Do not send InfoLawGroup or any of its attorneys confidential information until you have direct contact with one of our attorneys and obtain authorization to send us such information (e.g., via an engagement letter).  If you choose to do so despite this warning, you acknowledge that all such content may be used by InfoLawGroup for any reason whatsoever and will not be treated as confidential or proprietary.

Materials. All materials, code, statements, information and other content on or that comprise the Site and the "look and feel" of the Site (collectively, "Materials") are owned, controlled or licensed by InfoLawGroup and are protected from unauthorized use, copying and dissemination. InfoLawGroup grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial, revocable, non-assignable and non-transferable license to view the Materials. You agree that you will not frame, mask, extract data or other materials from, copy, reproduce, republish, modify, create derivative works of, upload, display, post, transmit, or otherwise use or distribute the Materials, except through use of Site features that expressly permit the distribution of  Site links or Materials via email or through your account on a third-party social media service. Any and all rights to use the Site that are not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved for InfoLawGroup.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, you agree that the Site and Materials are provided on an “as is”, “as available” and “with all faults” basis. To the fullest extent permissible by law, InfoLawGroup makes no representations or warranties or endorsements of any kind whatsoever, express or implied, as to the Site or the Materials. WITHOUT IN ANY WAY LIMITING THE FORGOING, YOU AGREE THAT THE SITE AND MATERIALS ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND THAT YOU WILL NOT RELY ON THE SITE OR MATERIALS FOR LEGAL OR OTHER ADVICE.  The Site may also contain links to third-party websites or online services.  InfoLawGroup does not control, is not responsible for and does not assume liability for those third-parties. You understand and agree that all rights under section 1542 of the civil code of California and any similar law of any state or territory of the United States are hereby expressly waived by him/her. Section 1542 reads as follows:

“CERTAIN CLAIMS NOT AFFECTED BY A GENERAL RELEASE. A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.”

Governing Law and Venue. You and InfoLawGroup agree that any and all claims or disputes between us arising out of or in relation to your access or use of the Site, these Terms, or the interpretation, making, performance, breach or termination thereof will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, excluding its conflicts of laws principles, will only be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Miscellaneous: We may assign these Terms without notice to you; you may not assign these Terms. Our waiver of any breach of these Terms will not be construed to be a waiver of any succeeding breach or any other covenant. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or contrary to law, such provision will be modified to the least extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining portions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and InfoLawGroup with respect to your use of the Site and Materials.  We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to change or add to the terms of these Terms and will notify you of material changes by posting the changed or modified Terms on our Site ("Updated Terms").  We may also provide notice to you in other ways in our discretion, such as through contact information you have provided.
