IL Appellate Court: No Duty Exists to Safeguard SSNs for Purposes of a Negligence Claim

In Cooney, et. al v. Chicago Public Schools, et. al¸ an Illinois appellate court actually rendered a decision holding that no such duty exists under Illinois law.
